Ben Whaley and Isobel Stewart hit the front, not once but twice, to open up a late charge, while leaders Ian Martin and Emma Hivey hit the wall with a double discard day.
Whaley and Stewart won the first race of day 4, ahead of Brendan Lynch and Ellen Clark (2, 8), with Jamie Harris and Ellen Main (3, 5) third . . . Martin and Hivey were 8th.
Whaley and Stewart then added a second win, this time ahead of Theo Williams and Eloise Nieveen (11, 2) with William and Erin Pank (-21, 3) in third . . . Martin and Hivey were 12th.
Ian Martin and Emma Hivey retain their overall lead after discarding the days efforts, and counting their earlier low scores (3, 2, 2, 2, 1, 2) for 12 pts.
Second are Harris and Main on 18 pts and third Whaley and Stewart with 24 pts. Apart from some position shuffling the top ten pack remains intact.
Racing finishes Thursday with 2 races races scheduled . . . can Martin and Hivey hang-on?
