Henri-Lloyd has introduced two new collections that take a very different approach to traditional polyester technical layers:
Meet the new Merino Core 160. Crafted from premium 160g Merino wool for natural comfort, timeless style and everyday versatility.
Lightweight and breathable, wear it alone in warmer weather or as the foundation of a layering system when conditions change.
Soft against the skin, the Merino Core 160 naturally manages moisture and regulates temperature for comfort on the water or shore.
When Conditions Change
The same lightweight Merino, with long sleeves. Wear it alone through cooler dawns and dusks, or as the foundation of a layering system. Lightweight Merino naturally manages moisture, regulates temperature and feels comfortable against the skin, making it a versatile choice for sailing, travel and everyday life throughout summer.

AirWool Merino – Merino-based base and mid layers combining natural fibres with technical performance for versatile on- and off-water use.
Few environments demonstrate the benefit of versatile clothing better than being on the water.
Summer sailing can mean warm conditions in direct sunlight followed quickly by stronger wind, cloud cover or cooler temperatures later in the day.
A lightweight merino wool base layer adapts well to those changes.
On warmer days it can be worn independently. As conditions deteriorate, it becomes the first layer beneath a midlayer or waterproof shell without requiring a complete change of clothing. The same principle applies beyond sailing.
