For the sixth day in a row, strong winds stopped all racing in Lavrion, Greece, as the 5.5 Metre class suffered another blow.
All racing was cancelled by 10:00, and the sailors had to find other worthwhile pursuits for yet another day . . . However, by the end of the day as the fleet were enjoying a Greek dock party at Olympic Marine, it was clear the wind had started to drop.
Though it is expected to increase again during Tuesday, there is enough hope for some early races, with the first warning set for 09:55 hrs.
Everyone is hoping everything falls into place Tuesday morning, so the fleet can finally take to Greek waters for the first time.
