It took a visit to the Protest Room to decide the 2026 Flying Fifteen International European Championship.
After Andrew Jameson and Greg Wells crossed the finish first in the fifth and final race – a result which took them to the top of the leaderboard – they faced a protest by second placed Andy Tunnicliffe and Richard Rigg over a P&S incident during the race, in which they finished 15th.
The result was a disqualification for Jameson and Wells, promoting Tunnicliffe and Rigg to winners of the 2026 European Title by 2 pts.
Jameson and Wells placed second and Victor Perez and Mark Branagh third overall.
