Sweden’s Emil Järudd and Hanna Jonsson have taken the overall lead at the Nacra València Cup on 13 pts after six races.
Argentina’s Mateo Majdalani and Eugenia Bosco are second with 19 pts, and third are Micah Wilkinson and Kate Stewart of New Zealand with 23 pts.
A lack of wind in Valencia kept the fleet ashore for much of the day until a first warning signal at 15:00 hrs.
Winners of the first race (R4) were the Swiss pair Marie Mazuay and Clément Guignard who after a 2nd in race 5 and discarding a 19 in the final race move into the top ten at 8th.
In the second race, Jarudd and Hanna Jonsson took the win with a 3rd in the first race, which after discarding a 10th took them into the overall lead.
In the race 6, Ruben and Rita Booth of Australia added a win to a much better day and moved into 9th overall.
