Johnny Vincent’s Volvo 70 Pace continues to lead the Round Britain and Ireland Race on the water
As of Wednesday morning they were just off the Hebrides around 320 mi from Muckle Flugga after quite a windy night. The breeze is still 20 to 25 knot due south, with the boat averaging speeds of 17 to 25 knots.
Quite wet through the night. Plenty of water over the deck and everyone’s trying to get to grips with that and find their comfy ways of of settling into the routine.
All on Pace thoroughly enjoying it and very much looking forward to getting getting the bow around the top end of the course.
