Only one race completed on day 2 of the 2026 OK Dinghy World Championship being held in Skovshoved, Denmark

Only one race was sailed on the second day of the 2026 OK Dinghy World Championship at Skovshoved, Denmark, on Tuesday. Incoming thunderstorms meant an early end to the day after a breezy third race.

Italian America’s Cup Challenger, Luna Rossa, is the second team to progress down the Road to Naples, stepping the mast in their AC75 at their base in Cagliari.

You know, you would have to think so… Yes, they are dayboats. They’re also adventure craft, which is why Highfield calls them the ADV7 and ADV9. Problem is, Highfield themselves call them RIBs, and as best as I can tell, they’re actually not.

Round 2 of the Allen Traveller Series was held at the beautiful location of Starcross YC on the River Exe. 25 boats entered the event, one of the largest TT turnouts in many years. Well done to Hunter Warden and his team for laying on a great event.

With only one race possible on Monday at the SSL Gold Cup Brasil 2026 European Qualifiers, Tuesday was going to be intense for the teams, with a full schedule of racing to try and bring the schedule back on track.

The fleet launched just after midday for the planned three races in fantastic conditions for skiff sailing. Despite getting near to 20 knots by the third race, the breeze was like a little tickle compared to yesterday’s punch in the face.

Team ‘Where’s Lazlo?’ won the Ramus Trophy after claiming victory at the IOCA (UK) Team Racing Championships at Rutland Sailing Club on 6th and 7th June 2026.
