The penultimate day of Cowes Week 2025 delivered great winds with some fruity gusts and choppy seas to challenge competitors as the competition for the top prizes heats up.

One race today, with a new wind direction, a steady 8-10knots from the southwest, with a long beat against the tide. With that the fleet was well behaved and we got away clean on the first attempt.

Canada Ocean Racing – Be Water Positive will line up this weekend for the start of The Ocean Race Europe, marking Canada’s first entry in the event.

A competitive fleet of 22 boats from around the country, 14 races over 4 days, 6 knot to 25 knot races, complex tides and only 2 discards made this a very challenging but enjoyable championship for the evergreen 707 class.
