Jeanneau Yachts presented by Mooloolaba Yacht Brokers and 74 Islands Airlie Beach Race Week (ABRW) 2026 is in full swing and already competitors have experienced three fabulous days of racing on the water and the social side ashore.

Following Day 4’s lay day, competitors returned to the race track rested on Day 5 of Jeanneau Yachts presented by Mooloolaba Yacht Brokers and 74 Islands Airlie Beach Race Week (ABRW) 2026 and the gauntlets are down with some battle royales ensuing.

As is traditional the British Moth fleet gathered in August for their National Championships, once again Hollowell Sailing Club in Northamptonshire was hosting the event but as a change to the norm it was being run over a weekend.

Italian Challenger Luna Rossa enjoyed another great sailing day in Sardinia’s Maestrale, clocking up their longest foiling time yet on Sailing Day 15.

Sailing Instructions for the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta Naples included key changes from the first Preliminary Regatta in Sardinia. It was a stop-start day for the fleet in Tenby when the early breeze that the fleet launched in petered out and the fleet was sent back to shore for a couple of hours.

Twenty-four hours into the 2026 RORC Round Britain and Ireland Race, the fleet is stretched along the English Channel and approaching the next major strategic test to round Land’s End and the Isles of Scilly.

The two Gold Fleet final races reshuffle the Junior podium: Spain’s Miguel Echavarri wins ahead of USA’s Ryan Lee and fellow Spaniard Luca Nueschen. Italy’s Annalie Meoni finishes sixth overall and first female.

The Miracles have arrived in sunny Abersoch for the 2026 Miracle Nationals at South Caernarvonshire Yacht Club. Day One started with a 1200 briefing and a 1400 race start after some significant and troublesome travel with various road closures.

The final day of this magnificent Solo Championship dawned hot and sunny, just a thin line of cirrus nimbus spoiling an otherwise deep blue stratosphere. Torbados had already delivered some fabulous weather and the forecast was for 10-14 knots.
