After a picture perfect start in bright Autumn sunshine and light, favourable winds off Saint Malo in Northern Brittany it is many of the pre-race favourites who are leading the 115 boat Route du Rhum Destination Guadeloupe fleet.

Under sunny skies and light winds, Team Malizia skipper Boris Herrmann took a clean start in the 13th Route du Rhum – Destination Guadeloupe. The race from Saint-Malo to Pointe-à-Pitre is expected to take the IMOCA fleet around 10-12 days.
