The 2026 Sail Port Stephens Commodores Cup Passage Series gets under way tomorrow, marking the 19th year of one of Australia’s premier offshore sailing events – and it’s shaping up to be the largest yet.

The BONDS Flying Roos SailGP team has closed out the opening day of its historic debut event in Rio de Janeiro in pole position and firmly in the hunt for a Super Sunday podium final.

The penultimate day of racing at the Antigua Racing Cup was delayed due to allow a big rain squall to pass through. The wind speed and direction was in a state of flux all day. The first race of the day started in sub-ten knots.

The Bonds Flying Roos lead the fleet with 28 points after the opening four fleet races of the Enel Rio Sail Grand Prix. A red-hot U.S. SailGP Team is close behind in second (27 points), while Artemis SailGP Team round out the podium group.
