Ryan McKillen’s Surge opened the M32 Newport summer season with a victory at the 172nd New York Yacht Club Annual Regatta, with recent college graduate Mitchell Callahan stepping aboard and helping secure the win in his first M32 regatta.

The 172nd edition of North America’s oldest recurring sailing competition, the New York Yacht Club’s Annual Regatta, served as a homecoming for one of the grand dames of classic yachting, the NY50 SPARTAN.
