Golden Globe Race underway
The celebrations are over; the ocean has taken charge. Sixteen sailors departed on Sunday, 6 September, for the 2026 McIntyre Golden Globe Race, cheered through the Les Sables d’Olonne harbour channel by thousands of supporters.

Camel Week 2026 at Rock
The Camel Week regatta is open to most dinghy classes and catamarans, and the 2026 edition was sponsored by the Point and supported by St Austell Brewery. The regatta also celebrated the launch of the Club’s new committee boat ‘Lilly Mae’.

Fireball Munster Championship 2026
On 5th and 6th September 2026, the rescheduled Fireball Munster Championship was held in Monkstown having been postponed due to significant Nationwide fuel protests and blockades in April.

Noble Marine RS700 Nationals at Torbay overall
A schedule of three races was planned to draw the championship to a close on Sunday. A light and flukey breeze, along with some nice swell, was in store for the fleet.
