The 2025 ILCA Senior European Championships & Open European Trophy in Marstrand closed after six days of challenging and varied conditions, with new European champions crowned in the ILCA 7, ILCA 6 Women, and ILCA 6 Men fleets.

Unusually the annual J70 weekend, organised so brilliantly by Andrew Eddy, had to be scheduled to coincide with the second day of the BSC Regatta (Saturday) and the first day of the SVYC Regatta (Sunday).

The SB20 European Championship in Ostend opened on Monday with a full-on test for the 40+ boat fleet. After a slow start with a two-hour delay ashore three races were completed in freshening breeze and challenging North Sea conditions.
