Dragon Class Europeans – Michael Zankel, Diogo Pereira and João Matos Rosa 2026 Champions

Michael Zankel of Portugal, sailing with Diogo Pereira and João Matos Rosa, is the 2026 Dragon Class European Champion.

After the final race Friday, the Easy crew took a ten point victory after the final race on the waters outside Helsinki.

Second were Britain’s Blue Haze of Ivan Bradbury, Lars Hendrksen and George Leonchuk, who scored well in the second half of the event (3 4 5 4).

Third on the podium were Sweden’s Nono of Martin Palsson, Christian Videbaek and Viktor Langstrom, another crew who finished strongly with a 2 and 1 to snatch third.

GBR 192 Bluebottle of Graham Bailey, Julia Julia and Wil Bedford, who were second going into the final day with three race wins, could only post an 18 in the final race and slipped to fourth.
