SailGP seem confident that the two final events of the 2026 season, Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix and Mubadala Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix will take place.
The two events, including the 2026 Season Grand Final, have been in doubt due to the continuing USA/Iran war in the area, its effect on surrounding countries and possible problems in transporting boats and team equipment to the venues, and the safety of the competitors and spectators during the events.
