Charlotte Rose of the USA leads the first day of the 2026 ILCA 6 Women’s World Championship, tied on three points with Emma Plasschaert of Belgium.
Rose and Plasschaert both won their first flight races, Rose ahead of Matilda Nicholls GBR, and Plasschaert ahead of Hannah Snellgrove GBR.
In the second flight races Maxime Jonker NED won ahead of Plasschaert, and Daisy Colridge GBR won the other ahead of Rose.
In the final flight races of the day, Frances Beebe AUS won ahead of Maria Erdi HUN, and Anna Munch DEN ahead of Rose.
Overall Rose and Plasschaert have a three point lead from Anna Munch on six points. Maria Erdi is fourth tied on seven points with Hannah Snellgrove GBR, Greta Pilkington NZL and Mara Stransky AUS.
Ireland’s Eve McMahon is 12th and the returning Annalise Murphy 25th.
