Four more Slalom races completed at the iQFOiL U23 World Championships in changing conditions.
In the Women’s fleet, New Zealander Aimee Bright added four more race wins to her scorecard to retain the overall lead with 21 pts after three days of competition.
Maya Gysler NOR remains close behind in second with 29 pts, while there was a change in third place as Stella Bilger AUS on 33 pts moved onto the provisional podium, replacing Tuva Oppedal NOR in the top three.
In the Men’s fleet, Italy’s Federico Pilloni continues his impressive run at the top of the standings on 9 pts. He is now discarding a first place, underlining the consistency of his performance across the opening three days.
Behind Pilloni, Manolo Modena ITA climbed into second overall with 17 pts after an excellent day that included two race wins.
One point behind Modena, Britain’s Duncan Monaghan moves into third overall tied on 18 points with Leonardo Tomasini ITA. Will Ziegler GBR is 21st, Boris Shaw GBR is 28th.
The competition continues with a mix of Course Racing and Slalom Thursday.
