SailGP crew lists revealed ahead of the two final events in Dubai

The crew lists for Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix, 21-22 November, have been revealed with a reshuffle on board Switzerland and still no named driver for the United States.

With the Bonds Flying Roos and Los Gallos locked into the Grand Final, Emirates GBR, Artemis Racing, and the U.S. SailGP Team enter the final two events fighting for the last remaining spot and a shot at the $2M prize.

The two final seaon events have been in doubt due to the continuing Iran/USA conflict, which has led to attacks on other middle east countries, and some international events have been postponed, but the SailGP organisation is going ahead, as of today.

The biggest crew change is undoubtedly Swiss wing trimmer Arnaud Psarofaghis named reserve, while grinder Arno de Planta takes Psarofaghis’ place next to driver Sebastien Schneiter. Reserve Nils Theuninck meanwhile takes de Planta’s grinder role.

Elsewhere, Mubadala Brazil have brought in British Olympian Hugh Styles as coach and retain Paul Goodison on the wheel, while the United States are still to name a driver for the event following the injury of Taylor Canfield.

Emirates GBR, who have an outside chance of making the Final Race at following Muba Abu Dhabi SailGP Grand Final weekend (28-29 Nov) – where the top three teams clash for the championship title, with a staggering $2 million (£1,495,383) prize – list their regular team, led by Dylan Fletcher.
