World Sailing’s Sustainability Sessions will return for season three with a new series of 12 webinars focused on sustainability in sailing.

With the Osprey fleet being invited down to Castle Cove to join in with our regular travelling chums in the Contender Class, a good weekend was guaranteed.

The September Open marks the end of the season for many, while others try to eke it out for as long as possible. The midweek forecast for the weekend wasn’t too encouraging: showers on Saturday and a windless north-westerly Sunday.

The 2025 GP14 Scottish Championship took place at Castle Semple Sailing Club, SW of Glasgow, over the weekend of 6-7 September 2025. It was a small gathering of seven boats, but this did not dampen any enthusiasm.

Saturday was day three and the half-way stage of the Autumn League, sponsored by Fingal County Council. The torrential rain that washed the east coast for the morning duly followed the forecasters’ instructions and dried up in time for the race starts.

Under the auspices of the Mugla Governorate, and with the impeccable organization of the Datça and Marmaris YCs alongside the Turkish Sailing Federation & World Sailing, Marmaris became, for the first time, the stage for one of the most anticipated stops.

Last weekend, the Diam 24od fleet gathered in Saint-Malo for the fourth stage of the World Diam Tour France 2025, superbly organized by the Yacht Club de Saint-Lunaire, in partnership with the SNBSM and the city of Saint-Malo.

Preparations continue for the 2026 Fireball Worlds hosted by Royal Torbay Yacht Club at the end of July. As part of the entry process, an Expression of Interest has been launched.
