Before we get into our report I wanted to share a simple recipe that seems to have worked for the Albacore Class! Event entries were up by 20% over 2025.

The 2025 P&B Phantom Nationals start this Friday at Hooe Point SC in Plymouth. For the first time the class is utilising on the water umpiring with two international judges afloat all three days.

This weekend Nine Merlin Rockets travelled to Brightlingsea for the Women’s Championship. A windy forecast kept numbers low but all those who attended had a fantastic weekend!

The 2025 EurILCA Europa Cup HUN in Balatonfüred featured a record-breaking 177 competitors from 16 countries, including Olympians and top sailors.

Firstly, a big thank you to Bala Sailing Club for hosting the event, first class race management, safety, galley and bar. A weekend that had lots of weather and wind, gave for exciting reaches and sometimes pretty shifty conditions.
