Luna Rossa teams dominate first day of AC38 Preliminary Regatta in Cagliari with the Italian Women & Youth boat posting a 1, 2, 1 scoreline for a nine point lead

The RS600 fleet decided to return to Lake Garda for their 2026 Eurocup after a brilliant time in 2024. This time, we were joined by the RS300s as well as some new RS600s who missed out last time.

The Luna Rossa Youth and Womens team gave a big breeze sailing masterclass on their home waters of Cagliari, Sardina.

The Spring Recovering Warrior Sailing Regatta, sponsored by Move United, was one of CRAB’s best in many years. The six warriors raced in perfect weather conditions with 10-13 mph winds from the South.

The first AC38 Preliminary Regatta starts in earnest Friday with three races starting at 14:13 BST (15.13 Cagliari time) the first competitive meeting of the AC38 America’s Cup Teams

One of the south coast’s biggest and best regattas for dinghies and small keelboats takes place once again in August, this year from 23rd to 28th (just before the Bank Holiday weekend).
