At the Hill Head Sailing Club Rooster ITCA Southern Topper Traveller 2026 on 13 September 2026, a total of thirty-five toppers (thirteen 4.2s and twenty-two 5.3s) took to the sea for an awesome day of racing, with some great competition across the board.

The 2026 ILCA Master European Championships concluded on Friday in La Baule after five days of competition, with the final two races of the week deciding the champions in every fleet and category.

16 races were sailed in up to 17 knots, mostly perfect for A rigs with a few gusts and lulls. Rob Owens broke his mast early on and did RO duty, Dave Tomlinson (DT) set the course.
